Enhancement of nonlinear effects in slow light photonic crystal waveguides
I discuss the the design of photonic crystal waveguides suitable for enhancing light-matter interaction, and give examples for the type of nonlinear enhancements already achieved, including adiabatic wavelength conversion and third harmonic generation.
