The purpose of the work is to define and study means of addressing in a scientific and educational text. The means of addressing (compositional-orienting, delimiting and thought-activating), characteristic of the author of this text, were investigated using the descriptive method. The most delightful are compositional-orienting and thought-activating means, which correspond to the author's goals. The investigated text presents not only experience, but also the art of surgery, which is achieved through the involvement of different types of dialogics. Achieve a vivid, real statement of the sequence of actions for the author allows the designation of the person to whom the advice is addressed.
