There were 374 participants divided into three groups: married (n=118), singles who date (n=140), and singles who do not date (n=116). The instruments used were the Scale of Subjective Well-being, Parental Conjugality Questionnaire and Factorial Scale of Couple Relationship Satisfaction. Descriptive analyses, correlation, and group comparisons were assessed. There were significant differences in parental marital perceptions, with the singles showing a more positive perception. This finding could be explained by the age difference between the groups and not necessarily because they are married or single.
