This is because of, at the place of suture knots, there is inflammation and continuous irritation, which leads to scleral melting and suture disintegration in due course of time. We report a new technique of suture tying and burying the knot of prolene suture in the scleral pocket instead of making a sclera flap and suturing the flap. We also tie the lens eyelet with double suture instead of single suture to ensure maximum post operative stability of lens. We achieved a very good centration and stability of S IOL with this technique. A good aspect was that there was no visible suture knot of any type, either of prolene suture or flap suture.
