An Examination of the Correlation Between Accuracy of "Big Five" and Perceptions of Friendship Closeness in College Students
The purpose of the present study was to examine the accuracy of a close friend's rating compared to each participant's own self-reported scores on the Big Five Inventory scales. It was expected that there would be higher self-other agreement on all Big Five personality dimensions.
