The study aimed to find out Myopia cases in children of school-aged in Trenggalek. Myopia is one of the main causes of the decreasing of sharp vision ability in children of school-aged, meanwhile a good vision is very essential in learning process. Information input to the brain is around 95% through the sense of sight.This observation used cross-sectional design. The subjects of this research were 292 participants. The data collection technique used census sampling. The study used instrument of questionnaire and was analyzed through virus examination and hypothesis used chi square. Myopia case among children of school aged was 21.9%, There was 61% of female students and 39% of male students. 79.7% had genetic factor and 67% had near-sight of 5 – 10 hours and 62.5% had distant-sight more than 3 hours. The result of correlation test of gender and myopia found p-value was 0.003, genetic factor of p-value was 0.000, and the p-value of length of time of distant sight was 0.000. There was correlation of gender, genetic factor, duration of near and distant sight and myopia in children of school-aged.
