Symptoms of recurrence are often characterized by shortness of breath that appears suddenly while sleeping. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fluid intake, sleep quality and family support on the quality of life of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). Methods This type of research is descriptive observational. With a cross sectional. The population of this study were all patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) in the outpatient cardiac polyclinic at the Idaman Regional General Hospital, Banjarbaru City. There were 41 people using the Spearman rank correlation test with a 95% confidence level. Results: The results of this study were 34.1% of patients aged 46-55 years, 53.7% of female patients, 36.6% of patients with elementary education/equivalent and 65.9% of patients who did not work. Fluid intake above requirement (31.7%), poor sleep quality (58.5%), unsupportive family support (61.0%), and good quality of life of patients (53.7%). There is a relationship between fluid intake, sleep quality and family support on the quality of life of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF).
