However, errors occurring on the transmission channel propagate through the line while decoding and often appear in consecutive multiple lines. In this paper, we propose a multi-line edge-based line average (ML-ELA) method that can improve the image quality of the image damaged by the consecutive multiple line errors of line compression techniques.
