Material and Methods: The study was conducted 117 patients with diabetes mellitus applying to diabetes policlinic of an university hospital of diabetes policlinic. “Questionnaire Form”, “Exercise Motivation Questionnaire (EMQ)”, and World Health Organization (WHO-5) Well-Being Index were used for data collection. Number, percentage, mean, standard deviation and median were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. The distribution of the data was evaluated with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and Spearman correlation analysis were used to evaluate non-parametric education about diabetes. Conclusion: The physical activity behaviors of individuals with diabetes mellitus were found to be insufficient, their well-being and motivation for exercise were found to be moderate. No relationship was found between well-being and exercise motivation.
