The aim of the paper is to contribute to the area of remote control and the interpretation of electroencephalography data gathered from an EEG headset. The paper opens with description of all the necessary components needed to measure the desired data. It also explains the process of connecting the headset to an Arduino board via Bluetooth. Focus is placed on the necessary configuration and parsing of the data packets in order to obtain the necessary information. Filtering the values to suppress backroad noise is also essential. Lastly it explains experiments conducted with the goal of influencing data measured by the headset, so it can be used for local control.
