The proposed PFDA consists of a pair of identical arms separately placed on the both sides of the substrate plate. Two half-wavelength resonators are used for feeding one arm of the dipole. Cross coupling is introduced in this design to achieve one radiation null at the upper stopband, which makes the proposed antenna have a good out-of-band suppression.
