The role of the Internet and specialized mobile applications, websites and programs for the recruitment, selection and assessment of personnel not only when hiring, but also in working with the existing personnel of the organization is emphasized as a leading trend. The positive and negative aspects of using mobile applications, websites and programs as a tool in the work of a human resources specialist are determined. The article demonstrates the problematic field of the presence of in-demand professions and the search for qualified personnel, as well as the role of modern information technologies in the implementation of the function of providing an organization with personnel in the digital economy.
