In order to reduce the size, a LTCC composite right-left handed (CRLH) resonator and a simplified composite right-left handed (SCRLH) matching network were analyzed and utilized to form the proposed passive equalizer. The insertion loss of the equalizer is less than 1.25 dB, while the return loss is better than 12 dB at 2-6 GHz band.
