In aerospace engineering, aircraft and gas turbine engine components are designed based on design curves. To ensure safety and reliability, influence of life and fatigue scatter model uncertainty on design curve construction is analyzed by comparing capability to describe fatigue scatter. Design curve with different models are calculated based on Ti-64 fatigue tests data. In addition, the number of test points is also discussed in this paper.
