Presented implementation is specially adjusted for testing the embedded system, and it will help the assessment of reliability of the system. The focus is on detecting the errors that appear during FlexRay message transfer, messages with corrupted content and unexpected delay of the messages. Beside monitoring and data recording, it is possible to inject faults and replay the captured data. Within the paper there is also a proposed solution of a diagnostic module that collects and displays the unique error code in order to precisely determine the origin of the error that occurred.
