A fim de entender como se materializam os fatores que implicam na chamada questão quilombola, o presente artigo buscou indicar pontos para um debate visando contribuir com as discussões históricas sobre as comunidades quilombolas no Brasil. Abstract : The issues that cover the situations in which the quilombola communities are involved in Brazil point to several factors of expansion of the horizons of the current analyzes, dialoguing with problems of considerable importance for society. In recent years, studies that have sought to understand the nuances of these problems, have addressed the demands and implications that are present in the long paths taken by quilombola communities, in a process materialized from the social to the legal. In this sense, it is accepted that an analysis of the quilombola question can only be reached from the conception of the existence of an uninterrupted historical conflict, in which these social groups are involved. Thus, we intuit that the dialogical realities involving the quilombola communities in Brazil occur in a complex relation of historical construction of the identity, mediated from the conflictual interaction with the "social whole". In order to understand how the factors that imply the so - called quilombola question materialize, this article sought to indicate points for a debate aiming to contribute to the historical discussions about the quilombola communities in Brazil.
