We use Kalman filtering for this analysis. The Kalman filtering is a useful method for estimating the current and future state of the dynamic system. Kalman’s filter is optimal for linear dynamic systems. However, most systems are nonlinear. We present the possibilities of modeling the distance measurement by a navigational distance meter operating under disturbance conditions.
