Both triangular - and rectangular SIW cavities are combined for the first time in the design of band pass filter. Cross-coupling structures are realized in both proposed filters via two or three propagation paths. Measured results are presented and compared to those simulated by Ansoft's High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software package.
