Technological cell design for agricultural products storage
The article is devoted to the technological cell design for agriproducts storage and outdate fruit and vegetable storehouses re-equipment into the controlled atmosphere storage. Now there is a difficult situation with agriproducts distribution and storage in Russia. Farmers are forced to sell out fruits and vegetables before they start to rot. Thus, the prices are falling and it results in high profitability losses which measure up over 30%. Only the potato losses reach up to 40%. There are strong sales fluctuations and it is impossible to fix them without solid investments. There are several storage techniques such as freezing, conservation, controlled atmosphere storage and even ozone and radiation treatment. The controlled atmosphere storage might be improved by technological cell implementation. This way of the storage organization could become the basis of integrated distribution centers. In view of the rapidly developing IT-technologies we should envisage the possibility of integrating the technological cell in cyber-physical systems (CPS). The technological cell should follow the principles of the multi-agent system.
