We propose in this paper a simple method to evaluate the probability of error in DS-CDMA receivers using a beamformer. We used a beamformer with adaptive antenna arrays followed by a RAKE receiver. Adaptive array can reduce the interference only when the directions of arrivals (DOAs) of the interferers are misaligned with the DOAs of the user of interest.
