Anemia is caused apart from the intake as well as the absorption process in the body. In addition to iron intake from animal foods, it is also found in plant foods. Sweet potato is a vegetable food that contains 0.61 mg of iron per 100 grams. Vegetable foods such as Ambon bananas also contain iron, Vitamin C, and specific essential amino acids such as histidine and arginine, besides being a source of iron, vitamins can also help absorb iron and are beneficial for the formation and perfecting of the brain. Objectives; To determine the effectiveness of sweet potato and Ambon banana consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels of pregnant women. Material and Methods; This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with pre and post test control design by giving food types purple sweet potato and Ambon banana as a substitute for Fe tablets to increase Hb levels in pregnant women for 14 days. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 90 pregnant women. The data were analyzed using the Anova test, the follow-up test used the Post Hoc LDS test. Results; The difference in the average Hb of pregnant women was obtained based on the three treatment groups. 介绍;全世界孕妇贫血的发生率为41.8%,其中美洲为24.1%,非洲为57.1%,欧洲为25.1%,亚洲为48.2%,而印度尼西亚为37.1%。贫血是由体内的摄入和吸收过程引起的。除了从动物性食物中摄取铁,植物性食物中也含有铁。红薯是一种蔬菜,每100克含铁0.61毫克。香蕉等植物性食物也含有铁、维生素C和特定的必需氨基酸,如组氨酸和精氨酸,维生素除了是铁的来源外,还可以帮助吸收铁,有利于大脑的形成和完善。目标;确定红薯和安汶香蕉食用对提高孕妇血红蛋白水平的有效性。材料与方法;本研究为准实验研究,采用前后对照设计,用紫薯、安邦香蕉等食物代替铁片,连续14天提高孕妇血红蛋白水平。抽样技术采用目的性抽样,样本量为90名孕妇。数据分析采用方差分析检验,随访检验采用Post Hoc LDS检验。结果;在三个治疗组的基础上获得孕妇的平均Hb的差异。结论;紫甘薯和安汶香蕉对妊娠期Hb均有显著的提高作用,安汶香蕉比紫甘薯效果更好。
