摘要

本文将人类视觉系统(HVS)应用于小波变换。小波变换将空间频域分解为八度频带尺度,其过程与HVS相似。因此,HVS的小波变换和调制传递函数(MTF)可以最优耦合,从而提高编码效率。根据小波滤波器的频率响应和MTF的积分比确定每个子带的量化步长。与JPEG进行比较,结果显示出优越性。
