In this paper, an output feedback controller is proposed for the regulation of the negative output Cuk converter. The main advantage of the proposed controller is only the output voltage state variable is used for feedback purposes. This eliminates the use of the current sensor. Various issues concerning the controller design like the detailed stability and feasibility analysis are also discussed to get some insight into the controlled system.
