本文分析了阿尔及利亚法语小说中单身女性的刻板形象，分别是考瑟·阿迪米(Kaouther Adimi)的《Les Pierres dans ma poche》和Leïla Marouane的《La fille de La Casbah》。通过使用不同的文学技巧，被选中的作家对当代阿尔及利亚社会提出了严厉的批评，尽管第二性别获得了来之不易的自由，但仍维持现状，将妇女禁锢在陈规定型的社会角色中，并对那些不符合社会标准的人进行侮辱。
