The simulation of two area multimachine power system including FACTS devices has been carried out in the MATLAB Simulink domain. The performance of unified power flow controller (UPFC) for the upgradation of transient stability limit has been investigated along with other FACTS devices such as static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) and static synchronous series compensator (SSSC) respectively.
