Today different tests and administrative compliance process exist in different countries, which are leading to a significant duplication of efforts and cost. Foreign manufacturers and importers of electrical/electronic product may not be familiar with the compliance scheme. This paper attempts to provide an overview of the Australian EMC regulations and industry Code of Practice.
