Comparision of MultiLevel Inverter using Reverse Voltage Topology for Multiple Loads
The uniqueness of multilevel inverters is such that they have a structure which makes it possible to reach high voltages with less harmonic content. This paper gives a comparison between a seven level and nine-level inverter with reverse voltage Topology which drives Resistive load and Single Phase Induction Motor with Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation Scheme (SPWM).The number of components used in this topology are less compared to the existing high level inverter topologies. With lower Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) there will be less stress on the power switches and higher efficiency of the circuit. The performance analysis is based on the results of stimulation study conducted on the operation of the multilevel inverters using MATLAB/ SIMULINK.
