With the increase of running time, the inlet pressure loss gradually increases, and it is of great practical significance to study the replacement cycle of the inlet filtration system from aspect of economy. This paper discusses the main factors that need to be considered for the replacement cost of the multi-stage filtration system and its calculation method, and the corresponding optimization model is proposed with the goal of minimizing the cost of filter replacement. The coarse filter and fine filter replacement cycle of a gas turbine inlet filtration system are optimized. The results show that the optimal replacement cycle of coarse filter and fine filter is 852.5h and 6000h respectively. Compared with before, the filter replacement cost was reduced by 1.2%. In addition, the influence of natural gas price and initial filter cost on the optimal replacement cycle of multi-stage filtration system and filter replacement cost is discussed.
