In such systems, server should take most of the computing job and than transmit the required image segments to client. So the efficient network transmission is vital for client to smoothly synthesize attractive 3D scenes. The proposed streaming scheme fulfils this task by probing the mobile network's status and then effective adjust the sending data to avoid network congestion and jitter. Pre-fetching and cache management are also considered for efficient memory usage and reducing transmission requests. With the help of this scheme, we implemented an interactive distributed 3D walk through system on both mobile devices and desktop computers. 摘要

本文提出了一种适用于分布式图像渲染(IBR)系统的自适应全景视频流方案。在移动设备上对复杂的3D场景进行实时渲染是一项具有挑战性的任务。主要原因是移动设备的计算能力有限,并且缺乏强大的3D图形硬件支持。在这样的系统中,服务器应该承担大部分的计算工作,然后将所需的图像段传输给客户端。因此,高效的网络传输对于客户顺利合成具有吸引力的3D场景至关重要。本文提出的流传输方案通过探测移动网络的状态,然后有效地调整发送数据以避免网络拥塞和抖动来完成这一任务。为了有效地使用内存和减少传输请求,还考虑了预取和缓存管理。在此方案的帮助下,我们在移动设备和台式计算机上实现了交互式分布式三维行走系统。实验结果表明,自适应全景视频流方案适用于分布式IBR系统。
