This study used an experimental method on the entire population of class VII students of SMPN 1 Muara Bungo, while two classes were randomly selected as samples. The instrument used in this research is a test of students' mathematical critical thinking skills and attitude scale. The test used is a description type test. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) the mathematical critical thinking ability of students who receive mathematics learning with Polya's Heuristic Strategy is better than students who receive conventional learning models; and (2) students have a positive attitude towards learning mathematics by using Polya's Heuristic Strategy. 摘要

本研究的目的是确定学生在接受启发式策略学习后的批判性思维能力与接受传统学习的学生的批判性思维能力的差异,以及学生对使用Polya启发式策略学习数学的态度。本研究采用实验方法对SMPN 1 Muara Bungo七班学生的整个群体进行研究,随机抽取两个班级作为样本。本研究使用的工具是学生数学批判性思维能力和态度量表的测试。使用的测试是描述类型测试。本研究结果表明:(1)采用Polya启发式策略学习数学的学生的数学批判性思维能力优于采用传统学习模式的学生;(2)学生对使用Polya启发式策略学习数学有积极的态度。根据这些结论,作者建议Polya的启发式策略可以作为教师在课堂上进行教与学过程的替代方法,并进行类似的研究来揭示本研究未研究的其他数学学科的理解能力。
