Moreover, home appliances can be monitoring and controlled with a smartphone application. The main components of the systems are ESP8266 microcontroller, Arduino UNO, PIR Sensor, LDR Sensor, temperature Sensor (DHT11), voice recognition module, face recognition module, Android / iOS application and service platform on NETPIE. In the study, it was found that face recognition can work well if the user's face is less than a meter from the camera.
