Production, storage and use of hydrogen for seasonal accumulation in energy efficient house
The excessive energy consumption in the residential sector, is one of the most important problems. Therefore, in this research, emphasis was placed on the use of renewable energy sources from solar energy and hydrogen energy to meet the needs of a residential house located in the suburbs of Moscow without any dependence on the electrical grid. The study compared several systems used in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, and Sweden in order to determine which was the most energy-efficient one to use. Under different working conditions, these systems use excess solar energy from the house's needs in summer to generate hydrogen, store it, and then use it to generate electricity in winter. As a result, the Australian system was chosen as an auxiliary system for solar energy to provide all the energy requirements of the house for the entire year and without any dependence on the electrical network.
