This paper aimed to design learning activities based on the information processing theory during the course offering to 153 sophomore students at the Zhao-Qing University. According to the characteristics of students' information processing ability, this paper explored teaching strategies and practices based on the model of information processing. The purpose was to motivate students to conduct meaningful learning. At the end of the course, the curriculum satisfaction questionnaires were collected associated with semi-structured interviews in November 2020.
