Recent researches on the usage of technology in different area of life activities have made WSN widely useful in monitoring different environments. Different monitoring tasks are being used in WSN and for that; in order to acquire the best performance is needed to focus in an essential parameter that is the node localization. This paper studies the localization issue based on three existing algorithms, and gives insights of a new algorithm for sensor localization. This new algorithm is based on the advantages of other three existing algorithms, knowledge this gained from the simulations results. Our proposed algorithm aims to improve the network convergence, energy saving, and scalability for the WSN.
