The recent advancements using induced pluripotent stem cells have opened multiple avenues of research related to therapies. This has led to an enormous interest among scientists regarding its application ranging from regenerative medicine to modeling diseases. For example, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease among others could be treated with iPSC therapy or replacement tissues.
