The attack on immune system in the gut which leads to bowel obstruction, severe diarrhoea, rectal bleeding are major symptoms in individual’s intestinal tissue. This disease is Crohn’s disease. The inflammation in the intestine is caused due to mucosal immune reactivity to antigen found in the lumen. The cost of cure is significantly higher in terms of health care. Now there is a chance for exploration of stem cell cure for Crohn’s disease. Although surgical restructure is required, the disease seems to appear even after surgery. It rejects restructuring unit. Hence surgery is often a failure. After careful experiments on CD patients, Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Hemopoietic Stem Cells are the best available options to cure CD. This case study shows how stem cells works and its results. The results have restructured the way stem cells have been to put to best use in patients that suffer the most with CD. At certain point, the results have high effects in its clinical emission with no medication required. CD patients had adverse effects while in medication and no serious effects with no medication. The definition of stem cells has been smeared all over this Crohn Disease patients and the results have been amazing.

The purpose of the investigation was to study the specific features of the course of pregnancy and labor in women with a history of non-developing pregnancy and to improve pregravid preparation to reduce perinatal losses. Ninety-two patients with a history of non-developing pregnancy, including 53 patients who had pregravid preparation before the occurrence of a subsequent pregnancy and 39 who did not, were examined. The results of the investigation suggest that comprehensive pregravid preparation comprising metabolic and vasoactive agents and hormonal support is effective in providing a more favorable course of pregnancy and labor and in improving perinatal outcomes.

The Effect of Stem Cells on Meniscus Tear Injuries
Pub Date : 2023-03-01 DOI: 10.37191/mapsci-2582-385x-5(1)-124
V. Gallicchio
The Meniscus injuries are associated with pain, swelling, impairment in function and activity levels as well as early osteoarthritis of the knee joint. The prevalence of meniscal tear injuries is close to 12% to 14%, with an occurrence of 60-70 cases per 100,000 individuals. There are about 850,000 cases per year and the global annual cost is estimated at $4 billion. Professional and amateur athletes demonstrate meniscus tear rates between 1.58-2.98 injuries per 10,000 athletic exposures. Sports with the highest rates of athletes affected by meniscus tear injuries include: football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, and rugby. Meniscus tear surgeries may lead to potential side effects or medical complications. The effectiveness of stem cells for meniscus injuries in animal and human subjects is something that researchers have investigated. Often preferred mesenchymal stem cells are the source for procedures seen in orthopedics as they change into many types of tissues including: cartilage, bone, muscle, bone, and fat. The use of stem cells in transplantation has shown an improved rate of healing, enhanced tissue quality, sustained functional gains, and improved outcomes in clinic. Researchers think the use of stem cells may offer other options for people with an orthopedic injury including meniscus tears decreasing recovery time, improving function, and decreasing degenerative osteoarthritis.

Today in mankind’s modern society cancer is one of the heterogonous critical leading death causes in the world. Annually many victims of different types of cancer are being recorded throughout the world. Many researchers did many researches and experiments to find the causes and treatment for it. According to the reports it is estimated that more than 10 million deaths were recorded in 2020. One of the challenging studies in cancer research is to examine the role of cancer stem cells in this process and treatment. Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) are a group of tumor cells that can possess tumor growth initiation and increase the bulk populations of non-tumorigenic cancer cell progeny through differentiation. Some of the particular characteristics give them the capability to be resistant to radio and chemotherapies. This mini-review aims to investigate the recent researchers from 2019 to 2022 to get a better view of the function and specific options which can help to act as a barrier in the treatment process and examine good suggestions in order to get more success in the near future.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a serious global pandemic and has a leading position among the causes of mortality. Diabetes mellitus is a heterogeneous disorder that both genetic background and environment can affect it. It is characterized by hyperglycemia due to a reduction in insulin secretion and action. In recent years, studies have proved that Human Pluripotent Stem Cells (hPSCs) have a remarkable role in showing genetic signs of this disease and using in clinical studies and treatment to show promising preliminary results. Results: The published studies in 2022 examine the role of pluripotent stem cells in diabetes type 2 treatments. Conclusion: The results of most studies show that studying and examining pluripotent stem cells can be practical and pave the way for drug treatment effects on different variants of diabetes type 2. The aim of this mini-review essay is to highlight the strength and shortcomings of pluripotent stem cells’ role in the molecular mechanism of this disease.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance, it can affect men of any age, however age is an important factor that influences the development of ED since estimates suggest that 10% of men under 40 years of age have it but the rate increases to almost 30% in men 50 years and older of 50% in men over 60 years of age, however, more recent studies mention a condition in young people in up to 30%. It is a common disorder that negatively affects the quality of life of men who suffer from it. Its prevalence varies among different countries, cultures, and races

Probably for the first time in the history of medicine, through the applications of Regenerative Medicine we can talk about actually "curing" a chronic condition rather than manage these conditions for life or even provide robust solutions for life-threatening diseases, including deadly hematological cancers, diabetes or progressive neurological conditions like ALS. Although this field is becoming a frontier only in recent times, there is documented evidence of this science in older times, including during the Greek times. Prometheus was supposed to possess an immortal liver which was feasted by the eagle of Zeus; although this has mythological significance, it continues to be of significance today, where we know the liver is one of the organs that have a high regenerative capacity [1]. This exciting field continues to evolve with a new armamentarium of therapies available to treat or potentially cure chronic degenerative conditions that were not known to have a potential cure previously.
