The application teaches a system to control a thickness regulating member used in the manufacture of sheet products. The position of the slice lip is controlled by a number of actuators positioned along the slice lip and connected to it and to the head box. The system is composed of a Siemens S7–300 PLC connected to a Daytronic equipment.
