Among such tools, Kahoot! platform stands out as a means of edutainment technology for the professional competences development, in particular prospective translators, where the grammatical competence occupies a leading place as general foreign language speech competence’s component. The purpose of this article is to substantiate theoretically the effectiveness (feasibility) of using the Kahoot! educational and gaming platform as a means of edutainment technology for the grammatical competencedevelopment of the students – the prospective Arabic language translators. Results. On the basis of the application mentioned above, the teachers of the KNLU Oriental Studies Department created two games on the topic “Numerals in Arabic” and “What time is it?”, which are aimed at developing educational and cognitive, grammatical and orthographic competences. The game is designed for the 1st-year students studying Arabic, majoring in “the Arabic language”. Test tasks, even with low results achieved by those who study, mostly do not cause such negative emotions in them, which can significantly reduce positive motivation to study foreign languages. This is due to the complete objectivity of the test control and its transparency. This can help to solveseveral issues such as, the reading speed of numbers used in Arab countries increases, multiple repetition of certain grammatical clichés increases speed of their construction in the further process of speech activity and also increase student’s motivation to be involved in the studying grammar. Conclusion. Using Kahoot! as a means of modern teaching technology, edutainment in classes on the practice of oral and written speech in the Arabic language contributes to the effective educational, cognitive and grammatical linguistic competence development of the students – the prospective Arabic language translators.","PeriodicalId":273615,"journal":{"name":"Vìsnik KNLU. 摘要

高等教育机构外语文化教学体系的发展需要定期更新这一体系的组成部分,特别是需要更新外语文化教学的现代手段。在这些工具中,Kahoot!平台作为一种寓教于乐的技术手段,对专业能力的培养,特别是对未来的翻译人员,语法能力作为一般外语言语能力的组成部分,占据着主导地位。本文的目的是从理论上证明使用Kahoot!教育和游戏平台作为寓教于乐的技术手段,为学生-未来的阿拉伯语翻译的语法能力的发展。结果。在上述申请的基础上,克伦卢大学东方研究系的老师们以“阿拉伯数字”和“几点了?”,旨在发展教育和认知、语法和拼写能力。这个游戏是为学习阿拉伯语的一年级学生设计的,主修“阿拉伯语”。考试任务,即使是学习者取得的成绩很低,也大多不会引起他们的这种负面情绪,这会大大降低学习外语的积极动机。这是由于测试控制的完全客观性和透明性。这有助于解决一些问题,如阿拉伯国家使用的数字的阅读速度提高,某些语法陈词滥调的多次重复在言语活动的进一步过程中提高了它们的构建速度,也增加了学生参与语法学习的动机。结论。使用Kahoot !作为现代教学技术的一种手段,寓教于乐的阿拉伯语口语和书面语练习有助于学生-未来的阿拉伯语翻译的有效的教育、认知和语法语言能力的发展。
