But the renewable power sources such as wind, PV are variable in nature which affects the power quality of grid. Hence, the power system is required to make balance between power demand and generation. In order to improve the stability the PID controllers are used. But these are fixed gain controllers. So, to overcome this issue, AI techniques must be used. This paper presents the hybrid renewable energy system with wind, PV and Fuel cell connected to the grid. The PID controller is employed with the system whose parameters are tuned with Particle Swarm Optimization technique. This optimization improves the stability of the system.
