The magnitude and phase of the backscattered signal received from the chipless RFID tag in motion is detected using a horn antenna. The performance is evaluated through experiment and measured using vector network analyzer. The post processing of the measured results is performed using Matlab. An error analysis is conducted on the experimental results to study the variation of magnitude, frequency and phase due to the movement of a chipless RFID tag.
