This type of research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The data sources used in this study were 3 Indonesian language teachers who teach in junior high schools. The instruments in this study were the researchers themselves and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are carried out in the following way. (1) Interviewing and asking for documentation in the form of lesson plans to 3 Indonesian language teachers in junior high schools; (2) Marking the results of interviews and parts of the lesson plans related to research data; (3) Inventory the data into data analysis guidelines. So, the results of this study can be concluded as follows. (1) The learning methods that have been used by Indonesian junior high school teachers are the method of inquiry, games, jigsau, direct observation, problem solving, discussion, assignment, and sanctions. Of the eight methods used, there are 2 methods that are most favored by all students, namely the direct observation method and games.
