Study participants were 360 parents \nof children with DD, with a mean age of 32.13 years (SD=8.19), 65.6% of whom had children with cerebral palsy. Through factor \nanalysis, the QE-PTD was found to have 32 items and four factors (Factor I: Child's Disabilities; Factor II: Family Problems; Factor \nIII: Behavioral Restrictions; and Factor IV: Emotional Overload). The four factors explained 46% of the variance with a KuderRichardson formula 20 value of .88 for the total scale. The QE-PTD presented moderate correlations with the General Health \nQuestionnaire and the Beck Depression Inventory.
