Taking the “mechanical design” course as an example, this paper puts forward a three-level evaluation method of course objectives achievement based on the students' abilities orientation. At the top-level, the supporting relationships are established between course objectives and observation points of graduation requirements. At the middle-level, the supporting relationships are established between various assessment and course objectives, including assessment links, methods, contents and criteria, etc. At the bottom-level, the achievement of course objectives are evaluated, the evaluation results are deeply analyzed, and the continuous improvement measures are proposed specifically.
