The functions of this system include basic information (electronic records) operation and healthcare information (ECG, Pulse, etc.,) measurement. Comparing with the conventional systems, our system is at a low cost because no special hardware or software is needed, and a personal digital assistant (PDA) or tablet personal computer can be used as the doctor's terminal. The current system is composed with three parts: the measurement system for health information, the server side in doctor's office and the client side for ward doctors.
