Compared with traditional metal, liquid metal has shown more advantages in terms of fluidity and continuity, which brings new options to the processing technology of conformal antennas, such as 3D printing technology, injection of flexible/rigid media substrates, and the surface of the dielectric material is sprayed with conductive fluid, etc. In addition, compared with traditional loaded diodes or high-frequency switches, liquid metal antennas use micro-pumps or electrochemical control capillary action, which can achieve continuous adjustment of the antenna frequency while satisfying a wider linear adjustment range of the antenna.
