Phasor diagram of the vector-controlled motor is developed under steady-state. Performance of a six-phase synchronous machine is presented in all four quadrant operations. A complete mathematical model is developed and controlled in a closed loop on Matlab/Simulink environment. Suitability and practical validity of the proposed control scheme are shown by conducting a test using processor-in-loop (PIL) by employing the STM32F407G board.
