Full-scale living seawall trial creates a space for nature along the Plymouth coastline, UK
The UK’s largest trial of a ‘living seawall’ was installed this summer in south-west England. Louise Firth of the University of Plymouth says it is part of a global engineering research programme to increase biodiversity along coastal and maritime infrastructure.
