Hal tersebut disebabkan proses kegiatan pembelajaran Seni Budaya menggunakan metode ceramah, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya capaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum siswa kelas VII-B. Ketercapaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimun SMPN 1 Kapas adalah 70. Tujuan penelitian untuk 1) penerapan media audio visual, 2) peningkatan teknik vokal unisono dengan menerapkan media audio visual. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-B SMPN 1 Kapas yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Jenis penelitian sebagai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart (1998). Pelaksanaan tindakan dilaksanakan selama dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu, 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, 3) Observasi, dan 4) Refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah a) Siklus I menyatakan bahwa 15 atau 53,12 persen siswa memenuhi KKM dan 17 atau 46,87% siswa lainya tidak memenuhi KKM, dengan jumlah nilai rata-rata 58,28 atau 58 persen b) Siklus II menyatakan bahwa 100% keseluruhan siswa kelas VII-B yang jumlahnya 32 siswa memenuhi KKM, dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 88,06 atau 88 persen c) dari penelitian yang dilakukan kesimpulannya dimana penerapan media audio visual terbukti meningkatkan teknik vokal unisono siswa kelas VII-B. Kata kunci: Media Audio Visual, Teknik Vokal, unisono Media Audio Visual to Improve Unison Vocal Technique for Junior High School Students This research was motivated by the low mark of students which can be seen from the pre-cycle data for class VII-B, 26 or 81.25 percent of students are declared not to reach the KKM and 6 or 18.75 percent of students reach the KKM with an average value of 37.09 or 37 percent. It is because the process of learning arts and culture using the lecture method, so that it has an impact on the low achievement of the Minimum Mastery Criteria for class VII-B students. The minimum of achievement completeness criteria for SMPN 1 Kapas is 70. The research objectives are 1) the application of audio-visual media, 2) the improvement of the unisono vocal technique by applying audio-visual media. The research subjects were students of class VII-B SMPN 1 Kapas with a total of 32 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using the Kemmis and Taggart (1998) model. The implementation of the action was carried out in two cycles consisting of four stages, namely, 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The results of this study are a) Cycle I stated that 15 or 53.12 percent of students met the KKM and 17 or 46.87 percent of other students did not meet the KKM, with an average score of 58.28 or 58 percent b) Cycle II stated that 100% of all class VII-B students totaling 32 students met the KKM, with an average score of 88.06 or 88 percent c) It was concluded that the application of audio-visual media was proven to improve the unisono vocal technique of grade VII-B students.
