This study applied a qualitative descriptive approach. This study aims to examine the politeness strategies used by Anies Baswedan on Metro Tv. The source of data of this study was obtained from youtube. The collected data is assessed using Brown and Levinson's (1987). Politeness Strategies theory to find out the types of politeness strategy and its sub-strategies. 摘要
礼貌策略是指一个人礼貌地表达自己言论的方式。本研究采用定性描述法。本研究的目的是考察 Anies Baswedan 在 Metro Tv 上使用的礼貌策略。本研究的数据来源于 youtube。收集到的数据使用 Brown 和 Levinson（1987 年）的礼貌策略理论进行评估。礼貌策略理论，找出礼貌策略的类型及其子策略。在对数据进行分析后，研究人员得出结论，在 Metro Tv 以 "Gagasan Untuk Indonesia Lebih Baik "为题的演讲中发现了四种类型的礼貌策略
