The indicators chosen were: environmental protection investment of the total economy, area of wooded land, protected areas, and protected forests, as well as air emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases from production activities and households. The results showed that the reduction of pollution both from productive activity and from the households of the population can lead to the mitigation of polluting emissions as well as to the preservation of biodiversity.
